KEVIN HINDS

Kevin Hinds brings a lifetime of service, heart, and dedication to his role at Gateway Realty. Born in 1965 in Lexington, Nebraska, Kevin’s journey began as a nurse’s aide at his hometown care home, where he proudly claimed over 135 “grandparents.” His heart for service led him to the United States Marine Corps as an infantryman, which launched a 21-year military career across the Marine Corps, U.S. Army, and Nebraska National Guard, including seven deployments and three wars. Following his military service, Kevin spent 16 years as a certified Deputy with the Dawson County Sheriff’s Office, serving in both road and jail operations. It was during this time that he founded Celebrate Recovery, a faith-based group helping individuals heal from life’s hurts, habits, and hang-ups. His passion for community continued in Gothenburg, Nebraska, where he hosted annual Memorial Day ceremonies honoring local fallen soldiers and volunteered at the community theatre to make family outings affordable for all. After his wife, Jodi Hinds, purchased Gateway Realty in North Platte, Kevin retired from law enforcement and made the move to Lincoln County. Now proudly calling North Platte home, Kevin continues to serve his community through Celebrate Recovery programs in both Gothenburg and North Platte, and as a member of the Rotary Club and Veterans of Foreign Wars. He shares this military service legacy with his son and finds great joy in watching his grandchildren grow up from Loveland, CO to Lincoln, NE. Kevin believes that true happiness comes from discovering your purpose and giving selflessly, a mission he continues to pursue daily. His rich background in leadership, compassion, and faith fuels his work in real estate. Kevin offers his clients the same dedication and integrity that defined his service careers. With a steady presence and deep community roots, he is honored to help others find home in every sense of the word.
